My new Look Portfolio at the AOI

The Association Of Illustrators has give it's website (which I have a portfolio in) a complete overhaul.



At the moment i'm in the process of completing a new series of images, "Marrakech" which I'll put up for viewing as soon as they're done.

The fantastically disgusting character of Mr Slurmbucket was great to illustrate.



How hot/cold is it.

Out last month in the US short article.
Done with Digital, nice clean colours but the lines aren't quite soft/spontaneous enough.

Publication in Cricket magazine this month called Nasreddin Hoca

This image was worked up entirely digitally from sketch to final artwork. I think I'd like to find a slightly better compromise though, where the line drawing is in ink and the colour is added later digitally. That way I don't lose too much of the scratchy spontaneous line
